Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Former two-time unified title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's greatest financial successes, consistently making substantial paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the customary stare-down, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really happening.
